PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT


¬ 


Serves as marketing intern for Turf Division, focusing on activities relating to development of social media and web presence, marketing program and collateral materials.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


¬ 


Assists Turf Marketing Specialist in design, development and review of company collateral materials including catalog and advertisements before release.


¬ 


Assist Division managers in the development and implementation of divisional marketing plans as needed.


¬ 


Administers various sales and vendor reports on a monthly basis.


¬ 


Maintains and updates company website and social media spaces.


¬ 


Administers various marketing data base systems of GoldMine and Sales Mobile app in AgVance.


¬ 


Assists in sales territory analysis.


¬ 


Coordinates various employee and customer meetings and events.


¬ 


Other duties may be assigned.


¬ 


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS


¬ 


May be required to maintain customer information.


¬ 


Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested.


¬ 


May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.


¬ 


May be required to pick up/drop off local products or materials by request.


¬ 


Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS


¬ 


Intern must be in active process of pursuing bachelor degree in marketing or related field.


¬ 


Demonstrates advanced knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs as well as Adobe suite of publication software including InDesign


¬ 


Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.¬ 


¬ 


Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
